flights from columbus to charlotte

There was enough time to hand out snacks to comfort + seats as was done for first class. We were directed to go to a gate across from our gate. The plane wasn't there yet so we had to wait for it to arrive, then deplane everyone and then wait again for the plane to be cleaned. After 45 minuites we were allowed on the plane. The first plane had mechanical issues.

Charlotte airport is miserable. For American I always have to connect from the end of terminal E to the end of terminal B and the stupid moving walkways are always broken. And the flights to all seem of least importance so they never leave on time in either direction. I had no legroom, although I paid for extra legroom. I could barely put my bag in front of my feet and under the seat.

Payment

Entertainment did not work in that the movie jumped forward and back and there was no audio. The plug in the arm rest was loose. Flight attendant tried “resetting” the video for my seat but no good. Someone else near me had the same issue.

I will never fly spirit for more than a 3 hour flight or overnight. The guy with severe body odor sat next to me. For the whole duration of the flight it was a torture. The airline should have better policy on limiting people with bad body odor to board the flight. Passengers should not be the ones to endure bad odor for the whole duration of the flight. The airline should be e the one to ensure decent air quality for ever passenger.

Generally good but there wasn’t any staff available when my luggage didn’t appear at baggage claim in Fresno. It took about half an hour to locate a staff member to open up the locked room where it was being kept. The airport confirmed the plane, identified as a Bombardier CRJ-900, safely landed, and the alert was canceled. Passengers were bussed from the plane back to the terminal. The airline will provide passengers with a flight to Chattanooga on a different aircraft.

When I was going to board, one of the staff members told me that I could not board with my passport bag because it was tree items and I would need to check a bag. So I had to put my things in my pockets, put the funny bag inside the other bag. Then in the plane put everything back again in my funny bag.

First the good, everyone was friendly and efficient. Flight was smooth and plane was very clean and new. Now the bad, seats have almost no padding on your behind. I liked the piloting of the aircraft. Very disappointed about lack of electrical ports.

Generally good but we were delayed almost two hours from the original time of purchase. The pilot claimed an internal issue then an external equipment issue that needed to be adddressed. Seatback entertainment system did not work even when the flight attendant rebooted it. At least I had my cell phone to connect with wifi.

I suspect i caught flu on this flight as i could hear someone coughing a few rows back and ended up with flu a few days later.
